Salesforce Backs Deep Sky's Carbon Removal Efforts with Durable Portfolio Inclusion
Deep Sky has been included in Milkywire's latest portfolio of durable carbon removal purchases backed by Salesforce. This move supports the removal of over 3,600 tonnes of CO2 across eight suppliers in seven countries.
The company's Vice President of Strategic Partnerships emphasized that Milkywire and Salesforce are helping translate demand for high-quality carbon removal into operational infrastructure.
Deep Sky has demonstrated its capabilities at a first facility and is now building out additional infrastructure in Quebec, where Salesforce's purchase through Milkywire will support the company's work. The project combines direct air capture with permanent in-situ mineralization, focusing on long-duration carbon storage solutions that may align with emerging standards for durable removal.
