Salesforce Builds Own CRM Model Using NVIDIA's Open Weights
Salesforce has built its own model, Koa, for CRM work using NVIDIA's Open Weights. The reasoning model is designed to tackle multistep workflows and select the right tool at each step, updating opportunities, routing cases, and scheduling follow-ups. According to Salesforce, Koa matches or beats leading models on CRM actions with three times fewer errors.
Salesforce controls the model weights and runs post-training and inference inside its own infrastructure, ensuring no customer data crosses the boundary during inference. The training corpus contains synthetic scenarios covering lead generation, opportunity qualification, and service case resolution, spanning over 14 industries.
Koa is currently running inside Salesforce with select pilot customers, including 1-800Accountant, Baxter Credit Union, Engine, Formula 1, UChicago Medicine, and Xero. General availability for Koa is expected in winter 2026 in US regions.
