Salesforce Deploys AI Model Koa with Nvidia's Support
Salesforce has put its first CRM reasoning model, Koa, into limited Agentforce pilot after building it on Nvidia’s open Nemotron foundation. The model gives Salesforce more control over a core AI layer.
Koa is designed for multistep CRM work such as qualifying sales opportunities and choosing the next action in service cases. It uses tools across workflows and is available to selected Agentforce pilot customers now, with general availability expected in U.S. regions in winter 2026.
Salesforce shares traded at $253.08 on Wednesday, about 1% below Tuesday’s close. The muted move is reasonable: Koa changes Salesforce's product architecture, while the announcement supplies no price, revenue target or signed-customer total.
