Salesforce is shifting its focus in Southeast Asia from tokens to Flex Credits, which are consumption-based units of payment for Salesforce Agentforce. The company wants customers to think in terms of actions rather than tokens.

Gavin Barfield, vice-president and chief technology officer for solutions at Salesforce ASEAN, said that customers no longer want to discuss tokens with the company. Instead, they talk about Flex Credits, which relate to actions taken within the system.

'We're taking that layer away from customers,' Barfield explained. 'Customers don't talk to us about tokens. Customers talk to us about Flex Credits.'
