Salesforce Doubles Down on Childhood Cancer Awareness
For families of children facing cancer, a wish is more than just a trip or experience, it's a chance to pause and experience joy together when they need it most. Salesforce is helping make this possible by matching every donation up to $1 million during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month in September.
The tech company has already committed to supporting Make-A-Wish with an additional $1M match campaign next year, as well as employee engagement opportunities and storytelling campaigns throughout the year.
As part of its partnership, Salesforce has helped make 100 wishes possible. The team has even hosted celebration events for three wish kids this year, including one child's unique wish: visiting a construction-themed adventure park.
For 5-year-old Sam, joy means digging in the sand with his toy truck and bringing his imagination to life with LEGOs. His wish was granted when he visited a construction-themed adventure park, where he drove, rode, and operated real diggers, dump trucks, and giant machines.
