Salesforce Earnings Report Set for August 26: What Investors Want
Salesforce's Q2 earnings report is due on August 26th, and investors are eagerly awaiting the results. The consensus forecast is for $11.32 billion in revenue and $3.27 per share of earnings (EPS), representing about 11% and 12% growth on the top and bottom lines.
Despite a 35% price increase from its recent low, Salesforce shares have been trading mostly sideways recently, which may mean that simply beating expectations is not enough to spark a significant rally.
Investors will be closely watching for evidence of reaccelerated organic growth and the company's ability to monetize its artificial intelligence (AI) investments. The market will also keep an eye on current remaining performance obligations (CRPO), which analysts expect to grow by over 13% to around $33.41 billion.
A stronger-than-expected CRPO figure would indicate robust future demand for Salesforce's subscription products, while a clearer picture of Agentforce's translation of customer interest and trials into commercial adoption could provide the catalyst needed for CRM to rise higher through 2026.
