Salesforce Exceeds Revenue Guidance with Strong Q2 Growth
Salesforce reported strong second-quarter revenue growth of 11 percent year over year, beating its previous guidance. The company's fiscal 2027 revenue is now expected to range between $46.1 billion and $46.4 billion, up from the previous range of $45.9 billion to $46.2 billion.
The quarterly results also showed a significant increase in non-GAAP diluted earnings per share, which reached $5.90, up 103 percent year over year. GAAP operating margin was 20.5 percent, and non-GAAP operating margin was 34.1 percent.
Salesforce's current remaining performance obligation stood at $33.5 billion in Q2 FY27, a 14 percent increase from the prior-year quarter. The company also reported strong growth in its Agentforce and Data 360 annual recurring revenue, with Agentforce exceeding $1.5 billion after growing 240 percent year over year.
The company's fiscal 2027 outlook incorporates the pending Contentful and Fin acquisitions, making the guidance conditional on transaction closings. The release assigns $200 million of the constant-currency guidance increase to those acquisitions and $100 million to organic growth.
