Salesforce Expands AI Bundles to Drive Recurring Revenue Growth
Salesforce is expanding its AI bundles in an effort to make it easier for customers to adopt its growing suite of artificial intelligence tools. The company has introduced premium bundles that combine new AI capabilities with existing applications, making it simpler for customers to integrate these advanced features into their workflows.
The early results suggest that Salesforce's bundled approach is helping to boost recurring revenues. In the second quarter of fiscal 2027, bookings from Agentforce One Edition and Agentforce for Apps more than doubled sequentially, while premium Slack upgrades have tripled since Slackbot launched.
Salesforce's AI business saw significant growth, with Agentforce ARR topping $1.5 billion in the second quarter, up over 240% year over year. Combined Agentforce and Data 360 ARR reached nearly $3.9 billion, rising more than 210%. The company's customers generated 3.2 billion Agentic Work Units in the quarter, up 97% sequentially.
The expansion of AI bundles could support Salesforce in multiple ways, increasing spending from existing customers by adding AI features to current contracts and making its platform more valuable with deeper use of Agentforce, Slack, and Data 360. However, AI growth has yet to significantly change the company's overall growth rate, which remains at 11% year over year.
