Salesforce is reportedly in talks to acquire Listen Labs, an AI-driven customer research platform, for approximately $2 billion. The potential deal would mark the latest expansion in Salesforce's aggressive M&A campaign launched this year.

The company has been actively acquiring strategic assets to bolster its enterprise artificial intelligence suite. Just months ago, it acquired Fin, a customer agent provider, for about $3.6 billion. This followed a series of targeted software acquisitions aimed at deepening the integration of generative and agentic AI capabilities across its platform ecosystem.

The acquisition push was set in motion earlier this year through targeted bolt-on deals for conversational insights platform Momentum and AI product discovery platform Cimulate. By continuously layering specialized AI and data-orchestration assets into its core architecture, Salesforce signals to Wall Street that aggressive inorganic growth remains central to maintaining its market leadership.
