Salesforce Hires Deloitte Veteran to Lead Innovation Hub

Rohit Khetarpal has left Deloitte after 16 years to join Salesforce as director of its strategic new and emerging technology practice within its Global Delivery Centre.

Khetarpal will lead efforts to turn the centre into a premier innovation hub and centre of excellence, building on his experience in consulting, particularly in front office transformation across sales, service, marketing, commerce, enterprise search, loyalty, content, and CPQ delivered through digital native solutions.

The move is significant as Salesforce repositions its GDC beyond delivery execution into genuine product and strategy territory. Khetarpal's philosophy of an engineering-first culture that welcomes diverse ideas and separates signal from noise aligns with this goal.
