Salesforce Launches Japanese-Language Version of Agentforce Voice
Salesforce has launched its Japanese-language version of Agentforce Voice, a voice conversation function for its autonomous AI agent platform Agentforce. The company started general availability on August 7. Agentforce Voice combines low-latency speech recognition and realistic speech synthesis with real-time use of customer data from Data 360 and operational data held in CRM systems.
The system can update CRM records, create cases, trigger workflows, and connect with application programming interfaces through the voice channel. It also works with cloud telephony platforms to introduce AI voice responses while using existing phone infrastructure.
Salesforce adopted Koto, a voice foundation model from Kotoba Technologies, for the Japanese-language version of Agentforce Voice. The company said Koto provides ultra-low-latency speech-to-text and text-to-speech technology tailored to Japanese, Korean, and Chinese languages.
