Salesforce Names Natalia Escobedo as Iberia General Director
Salesforce has appointed Natalia Escobedo as its new senior vice president and general director for Iberia, taking over from Enrique Polo de Lara who held the position for over 12 years.
Escobedo joins Salesforce after more than 11 years at Microsoft, where she led the public sector business in Spain and was part of the management committee. She previously worked at IBM and Software AG in various commercial leadership positions.
The company has stated that Escobedo's experience in digital transformation, artificial intelligence (AI), team management, and business development will help accelerate its growth strategy in Spain and Portugal.
Salesforce anticipates a significant advance in the region linked to agentic AI technologies. Under her leadership, the company aims to drive the adoption of its platform so that companies and public administrations can become 'agentic' entities where humans and AI agents work together.
