Salesforce Outage Hits During Dreamforce Event
Salesforce's flagship product suffered an unexpected outage on Wednesday morning during its annual Dreamforce event in San Francisco.
The company's cloud suite became partially inaccessible to customers around 3:50 a.m. ET due to issues affecting Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge, according to Salesforce's status page.
An external vendor was responsible for the problem, which caused errors and freezing issues in both browsers.
The fix for the issue, which affected versions 153 of both browsers, was released by the vendor during the overnight hours.
By 7:00 a.m. ET, the problems had been mostly resolved, allowing customers to access Salesforce's services once again.
