Salesforce Pilot Projects Fail to Translate into Full Rollouts
A recent Dreamforce survey of Agentforce users has revealed that while many companies have tested and deployed Salesforce's AI agent product, few have turned those tests into large-scale rollouts.
According to Oppenheimer, an investment bank, 85% of respondents have tried or implemented Agentforce, but nearly half are still in the pilot phase. This means they're evaluating its security, data connections, and effectiveness before committing to a larger budget.
The survey also found that companies are prioritizing efficiency and cost-cutting projects over growth-oriented sales and marketing upgrades. This focus on ROI may make it harder for AI tools like Agentforce to gain traction, as buyers are looking for clear payback and pricing.
