Salesforce Q2 Earnings Hinge on New Business Growth
Salesforce's Q2 earnings report is due out on Wednesday, and analysts are expecting to see whether new business can boost revenue growth in the second half of fiscal 2027.
According to Canaccord Genuity analyst David Hynes, management has suggested that net new average order value (NNAOV) could propel total revenue higher in the back half. However, this is a steep target to achieve, as NNAOV has grown faster than existing business for four consecutive quarters.
Salesforce's second-quarter guidance suggests organic growth will slow to around 6%-7% excluding contributions from Informatica. To meet its revenue target for the second half, sales growth would need to accelerate significantly from this level.
