Salesforce Rolls Out AI Agents to Tackle High-Value Work
Salesforce has introduced a new portfolio of AI agents designed to handle high-value work across various business functions, including sales, service, commerce, employee experience, and back office.
The agents are built on top of Salesforce's Agentforce technology and are connected to Customer 360, allowing them to access customer context and business processes. Each agent comes with pre-built skills, actions, and data models tailored for specific jobs, enabling companies to start with job-ready agents rather than building every agent from scratch.
The portfolio includes several agents, such as Casey (help agent), Paige (IT & HR service agent), Carter (shopper agent), Hunter (outbound sales agent), Marshall (supply chain agent), Piper (inbound pipe gen agent), and Fin (customer agent). These agents can be tailored to each company's business needs, including giving them their own names.
The new long-horizon runtime for Agentforce enables agents to pursue goals across days and weeks, allowing them to adapt to changing circumstances and incorporate new information. This capability is currently available in pilot mode and will become generally available in November 2026. Salesforce has reported delivering 7 billion Agentic Work Units (AWUs) across Agentforce and Slack over the past two years.
