Salesforce is expanding its Agentforce platform to include job-ready AI agents designed to automate complex tasks across various business functions.

The new agents can manage tasks over longer periods, learn from interactions, and adapt as circumstances change. They also come with industry-specific skills and knowledge, allowing small businesses to deploy them without building AI systems from scratch.

Companies using Agentforce have already seen measurable results, including Eva help agent resolving 50% of chat inquiries autonomously and 90% of shopper interactions being managed by AI within six weeks.

Salesforce also introduced a long-horizon runtime to help AI agents maintain context and make progress across multiple sessions.
