Salesforce Sees $63 Billion Revenue Potential in AI-Driven Growth
Salesforce, the enterprise software company behind its namesake customer-management platform and Slack, has set a revenue target of $63 billion by fiscal 2030. This comes as a surprise to Wall Street, which had been expecting around $61.4 billion.
The company's shift in strategy is also notable, as it was once seen as vulnerable to the impact of generative AI on traditional software companies.
However, Salesforce now expects AI to help drive revenue growth, and has made significant investments in this area. The company has partnered with Anthropic to integrate its Claude model into Claudeforce, a product that connects customer data with AI technology.
Salesforce is also testing Koa, an AI reasoning model built on Nvidia architecture, with nearly 1,000 enterprise customers. Additionally, Slack is taking on a new role as the central place for companies to manage autonomous AI agents.
