Salesforce Sees Revenue Rise, Profitability Surge Amid Q2 Earnings Beat

Salesforce, Inc., a leading cloud-based software company, reported its second-quarter fiscal 2027 earnings on August 26. The company's revenue rose to $11.3 billion, up 10.8% from the same period last year.

While Salesforce's revenue growth was slightly below estimates, its profitability improved sharply at the bottom line. Net income attributable to common shareholders climbed to $3.5 billion, representing an 86.9% increase year-over-year. Diluted earnings per share (EPS) reached $4.29, a 118.9% jump from the prior year.

Cash from operating activities also strengthened to $1.3 billion, reflecting healthier cash generation in the quarter. Salesforce ended the period with $8.3 billion in cash and cash equivalents.

The stock rose 12.56% after the market close following the report, indicating a positive reaction from investors. Analysts have issued price targets for CRM, with a median target of $228.0.
