Salesforce Sees Surge in Institutional Investor Interest
Salesforce Inc. (NYSE:CRM) has seen significant institutional investor activity in recent quarters, according to its latest disclosure with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Focus Partners Advisor Solutions LLC acquired a new position in shares of Salesforce during the 2nd quarter, purchasing 7,449 shares valued at approximately $1,167,000.
Other hedge funds and institutional investors have also increased their holdings in Salesforce. Brighton Jones LLC grew its stake by 13.7% in the 4th quarter, owning 25,668 shares worth $8,582,000 after buying an additional 3,102 shares. Revolve Wealth Partners LLC boosted its position by 12.6% during the same period.
Analysts have been upbeat about Salesforce's prospects, with JPMorgan recently resuming coverage and setting a price target of $250, citing potential acceleration in the company's core business. Monness Crespi & Hardt also raised its price target to $222 from $200 and maintained a Buy rating.
However, not all analysts are optimistic about Salesforce's future. Parnassus Investments has expressed concerns that alternative software and AI-native tools threaten Salesforce's traditional CRM franchise.
