Druckenmiller Dumps Intel and Micron, Loads Up on Amazon

Billionaire investor Stanley Druckenmiller, CEO of Duquesne Family Office, has made some notable moves in the second quarter. According to the latest Form 13F filing with regulators, he dumped shares of Micron Technology (MU) and Intel (INTC), while significantly increasing his stake in Amazon (AMZN).

Druckenmiller's fund sold 23,400 shares of Micron and 411,400 shares of Intel. He was likely taking profits from the significant price increases of these semiconductor stocks. Both companies are well-positioned to thrive amid the evolution of AI, but their stocks have more than tripled in value recently.

On the other hand, Druckenmiller's stake in Amazon has increased by 1,083% since the end of March. He purchased 495,800 shares of Amazon, making it a top-10 position at Duquesne Family Office. This move is not surprising given Amazon's dominant position in both online retail and cloud infrastructure services.
