Salesforce's stock surged 22.60% to $252.10 on Thursday after the company released strong Q2 earnings, raised full-year guidance, and announced a partnership with Anthropic to develop Claudeforce.

The CRM and AI-powered enterprise software provider beat Wall Street expectations for sales growth of 11%, while its current remaining performance obligations grew by 14%. Salesforce also increased its full-year sales forecast, predicting an 11% to 12% increase this year.

Salesforce's CEO Marc Benioff stated that the company is 'delivering a dynamic interface that thinks, reasons, and acts' through the partnership with Anthropic. This move comes after Salesforce grew its agentic workforce units by 97% in Q2 as AI agents tackle more tasks for customers.

The strong results and partnership momentum have investors watching Salesforce closely, particularly in regards to AI-related revenue traction. The company's trading volume reached 53.3M shares, approximately 246% above its three-month average of 15.4M shares.
