Salesforce Stands Firm on UK Commitments Amid Government Changes
Salesforce UKI CEO Zahra Bahrololoumi has reaffirmed the company's commitment to its mission in the UK, despite recent changes in government and leadership. Speaking at Dreamforce 2026, Bahrololoumi emphasized that Salesforce remains dedicated to boosting digital skills and helping the UK capitalize on the generative AI boom.
The company is one of several tech giants, including IBM, Google, and Microsoft, that have committed to training 10 million Brits in AI by 2030. Salesforce has already made significant progress towards this goal, having trained 15,000 people through its Future Trailblazers program. Bahrololoumi noted that the company is not only active in schools but also proactive, with no signs of slowing down.
Bahrololoumi acknowledged that the UK needs to be more aggressive on skills development, but she remains optimistic about the country's tech credentials. She highlighted the flexibility and versatility offered by the UK's labor laws compared to those in wider Europe, which could help drive innovation and growth.
