Salesforce Stock Drops 3% on Raised Revenue Outlook
Salesforce stock fell by over 3% on Thursday after the company raised its fiscal 2027 revenue outlook to the high end of its previous range, according to Benzinga Pro. This update may have disappointed investors who were expecting a larger increase in revenue.
Analyst Samik Chatterjee at J.P. Morgan maintained an Overweight rating and a $265 December 2027 price forecast for Salesforce stock. He noted that the company's investor day highlighted growing AI monetization opportunities, premium upgrades, and higher spending among Agentforce customers.
J.P. Morgan estimates that every 1% of Salesforce's customer base that moves from core products to premium tiers represents roughly $100 million in opportunity. The economics of premium upgrades also stood out, with upgrades to Agentforce 1 Edition carrying a 60% to 80% increase in average selling prices.
