Salesforce Stock Takes Minor Hit After Thursday's Big Surge
Salesforce's stock took a minor hit on Friday after surging by 22.5% the previous day, as investors engaged in some natural profit-taking and sector consolidation.
The stock is still trading at an elevated level, with a 24.3% increase above its 20-day Simple Moving Average (SMA) of $199.98 and a 24.2% rise above its 200-day SMA of $200.25.
On Thursday, the company posted fiscal second-quarter results that exceeded expectations, with an 11% year-over-year revenue increase to $11.35 billion, topping analyst forecasts of $11.32 billion.
