Salesforce Research & Insights recently surveyed 2,714 Trailblazers at Dreamforce to explore how human strengths intersect with AI experiences. The study revealed key insights into how people integrate their creativity, expertise, and judgment when working with AI, highlighting areas where design improvements could enhance these contributions.

The survey found that creativity was the most desired strength participants wanted to bring more of, with many expressing concern about over-relying on AI-generated ideas. Participants shared strategies like starting with human-generated sketches or ideas before consulting AI, ensuring their creative input remains central. The research also emphasized the importance of designing AI experiences that invite human input first, fostering a balance between human creativity and AI assistance.

Domain expertise emerged as the most frequently cited strength already in use, with participants leveraging their knowledge to provide context and correct AI assumptions. The study suggested that AI experiences should make it easier to supply and retain expertise, reducing the need to repeatedly explain it. Judgment was another critical strength, with participants actively pressure-testing AI outputs against real-world scenarios and reliable sources.

Accountability, though less frequently mentioned, was highlighted as essential, with participants noting that they ultimately own the results of AI-assisted work. The research recommended integrating verification steps into AI workflows to support this responsibility. Relationships were also noted as important for building organizational trust in AI systems, with participants emphasizing the need for careful data stewardship and stakeholder involvement.
