Salesforce Surges on Autonomous Agents and Data Platform Momentum
Salesforce's quarterly results show record revenue growth and expanded margins in its software business. The company reported low-double-digit revenue growth, sharply expanded margins, cash generation up by more than two-thirds year over year, and a raised annual revenue framework.
The agent platform, which is part of Salesforce's effort to make autonomous agents work in production, approached four billion dollars in annual recurring revenue and more than tripled compared with a year earlier. The data platform, crucial for the agent business, has ingested a volume of records several times larger than a year earlier.
The company has been reshaping its portfolio through acquisitions, strengthening its underlying data infrastructure and expanding into adjacent markets such as content management and customer support automation.
