JPMorgan Chase & Co. has launched Capped Dual Directional Buffered Equity Notes linked to the Dow Jones Industrial Average and the S&P 500 Index.

The notes are designed for investors seeking a capped, unleveraged exposure to any appreciation or depreciation of the lesser-performing index at maturity.

The maximum upside return is 20.50%, while the buffer amount is 18.00%. This means that if the final value of either index is less than its initial value by more than the buffer amount, investors will lose some or most of their principal amount at maturity.
