Salesforce Tackles AI Agent Limitations with Data 360 Headless
Salesforce has introduced Data 360 Headless, an extension of its data foundation to provide trusted business context beyond the UI to agents, applications, and workflows.
According to Salesforce, the issue with AI agents is not that they are bad models, but rather they fail because they reason over incomplete or misunderstood business context. Data 360 solves this problem at the data layer, providing unified, resolved, and trusted business context as data, not UI.
Data 360 Headless extends this capability through its MCP Server, which connects to AI clients like Claude Code and allows users to describe what they want instead of clicking through Setup. The server reaches the full Data 360 toolkit, including data streams, field mappings, identity resolution, calculated insights, and segments.
