Salesforce Unveils AIforce to Unlock Enterprise Value
Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff introduced AIforce at Dreamforce 2026 as a new interface layer that brings together data, applications, agents, and enterprise intelligence. He believes it can unlock trapped value in enterprise systems of record, making enterprise intelligence accessible through a dynamic interface.
Benioff emphasized that models alone cannot run the enterprise, citing the need for combining probabilistic AI with deterministic data, business rules, permissions, and workflows. This approach creates the foundation for reliable, enterprise-grade AI, according to Benioff.
The CEO also discussed headless applications, which expose underlying functionality and intelligence through AI interfaces. He sees this as creating an entirely new interface, rather than destroying traditional software interfaces.
