Salesforce has expanded its Headless 360 platform to allow authorized AI agents to access and utilize business functions across various enterprise applications. The expansion includes new Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, Data 360 capabilities, Slack integrations, reusable Skills, and developer tools.

The company has introduced the Headless 360 MCP Server, which uses the open MCP standard to enable AI agents to discover and invoke Salesforce capabilities. This server is metadata-aware, allowing agents to work with information about relationships, permissions, workflows, validation rules, and governance associated with Salesforce capabilities.

Salesforce is also introducing the Data 360 MCP Server, which exposes nearly 200 Data 360 APIs through open standards. Authorized agents can use it for tasks such as building semantic models, transforming data, generating calculated insights, mapping fields, inspecting identity graphs, and creating audience segments.
