Salesforce Unveils Koa AI Model with NVIDIA to Power Agentforce
Salesforce has unveiled Koa, its first CRM reasoning model for Agentforce, built in collaboration with NVIDIA. The AI model is designed to handle complex, multi-step enterprise workflows and take actions across various CRM applications. Developed by post-training NVIDIA's Nemotron 3 Super on synthetic scenarios modeled on nearly three decades of Salesforce CRM knowledge, Koa matches or exceeds leading models in CRM actions while delivering 3x fewer errors on its CRM Benchmark.
Koa is already being used internally at Salesforce and will be made available to customers in Winter 2026. The model is also being tested by several companies, including 1-800Accountant, Baxter Credit Union, Engine, Formula 1, UChicago Medicine, and Xero. According to Jayesh Govindarajan, Salesforce AI executive, the company had previously relied on third-party models for reasoning tasks.
Salesforce is not replacing these third-party models but rather expanding its capabilities with Koa. The company continues to work with providers like Anthropic and Claudeforce, which brings Claude into Salesforce workflows while keeping enterprise data within Salesforce's infrastructure. This collaboration aims to bring specialized reasoning to Agentforce, helping agents handle complex tasks and determine the right tools for the job.
