Salesforce's Agents for Impact Cohort Showcases AI Solutions for India's Social Sector
Salesforce has announced that four Indian nonprofits have developed and showcased custom AI solutions through its Agents for Impact Cohort program.
The six-month build phase saw the organizations, including Teach For India, Antarang Foundation, Foundation For Excellence, and Latika, leverage Salesforce technology and expertise to create agentic AI agents addressing critical needs in education, career readiness, scholarships, and support for people with disabilities and their families.
The solutions aim to simplify time-intensive work, expand access to critical support, and help frontline teams serve more people effectively. For instance, Teach For India developed an AI-enabled Teaching Assistant and Coach that provides teachers with on-demand access to contextual guidance, mentorship, and personalized resources.
Antarang Foundation's conversational AI copilot supports career facilitators in delivering personalized guidance to young people, while Foundation For Excellence built an intelligent scholarship Agent that reads, extracts, and validates application documents. Latika developed Asli Intelligence, an internal AI Legal Guide that creates personalized plans for families of children with disabilities.
