Salesforce's Agents for Impact Cohort Showcases Human-Centered Agentic AI Solutions
Salesforce has announced the success of its Agents for Impact Cohort, an initiative that helped four Indian nonprofits develop custom AI solutions to address specific needs in their missions.
The cohort, launched in February 2026, brought together organizations such as Teach For India, Antarang Foundation, and Latika, among others. These nonprofits received access to grants of up to INR 6.8 crores, Salesforce technology, and pro-bono expertise through the Accelerator.
The four nonprofits developed AI agents that address critical needs across education, career readiness, scholarships, and support for people with disabilities and their families. For example, Teach For India built an AI-enabled Teaching Assistant and Coach that provides teachers with contextual guidance, mentorship, and personalized resources.
The solutions showcased by the cohort aim to simplify time-intensive work, expand access to critical support, and help frontline teams serve more people effectively. According to Salesforce's President & CEO for South Asia, Arundhati Bhattacharya, AI's most meaningful role in the social sector is not replacing people but extending their knowledge, reclaiming their time, and helping them serve more communities with relevance and care.
