Salesforce's Agents for Impact Program Yields Successful AI Solutions for Indian Nonprofits
Salesforce has announced the success of its inaugural India cohort for the Agents for Impact program. The program aimed to help nonprofits leverage AI technology to advance their missions.
The four Indian nonprofits that participated in the six-month program - Teach For India, Antarang Foundation, Foundation For Excellence, and Latika - developed custom Agentforce solutions addressing critical needs across education, career readiness, scholarships, and support for people with disabilities and their families.
The AI agents were designed to simplify time-intensive work, expand access to critical support, and help frontline teams serve more communities effectively. The solutions span teacher support, career guidance, scholarship processing, and disability entitlements.
The organizations received grants of up to INR 6.8 crores, Salesforce technology, and pro-bono expertise through the Accelerator program. Each organization turned its deep domain expertise into an agentic AI solution built around the people it serves and the processes that support them.
