Salesforce's Price Action Enters Verification Phase
Salesforce's recent price action has been under scrutiny as it continues to trade in its verification phase. The company's stock price surged from a 20-day low of $205.62 to a peak close of $264.43, representing a gain of 28.6%. However, the price pulled back by 11.78% to $233.28, which is currently below the moving average (MA) of 20 days ($245.78) but above the MA of 50 days ($209.63).
The moving-average stack remains in a bullish arrangement, with MA20 greater than MA50 and MA120. This suggests that the trend is still intact despite the recent pullback.
However, momentum indicators are signaling caution. The MACD histogram has weakened to -4.39, while the Relative Strength Index (RSI) 14 sits near the midline at 50.04. Additionally, the KDJ indicator has dropped into oversold territory, indicating that price has cooled down.
Despite these signs of weakening momentum, the structure remains intact. The volume contracted to 0.8 times the 20-day average during the pullback, and the amplitude of the 34.8% band is relatively strong. However, net fund outflows are a concern, as funds show an outflow.
