Samsung has ended its partnership with Microsoft OneDrive for backing up photos and videos on Galaxy devices through the Samsung Gallery app. The integration was replaced by Google Photos in mid-September, as announced earlier this year.

To use the new feature, users need to update their Samsung Gallery and Gallery Cloud Sync apps to versions 15.9.01.7 and 1.6.09.31, respectively. This can be done through the Galaxy Store or by downloading the APK files manually.

Once updated, a banner will appear in the Gallery app prompting users to activate Google Photos sync. If OneDrive was previously used, it must be unlinked before enabling Google Photos integration.
