Samsung E&A Enters LNG Market with Modular Package Solution

Samsung E&A, a total solutions provider for the global energy industry, has launched its entry into the LNG plant market with the unveiling of its 'LNG Module Package'. The package was introduced on September 16 at Gastech, the world's largest exhibition for natural gas, LNG, low-carbon solutions, and energy AI.

The core competitive advantage of this package lies in combining Honeywell's proven process technology with Samsung E&A's modular execution capabilities to shorten project timelines and mitigate execution uncertainties, said Hong Namkoong, President and CEO of SAMSUNG E&A.

The LNG Module Package is optimized for small and medium-sized LNG projects and delivers a comprehensive solution by modularizing key liquefaction plant processes. The package combines Samsung E&A's proprietary modular technology with the AP-SMR (Single Mixed Refrigerant) LNG Process liquefaction technology of Honeywell Technologies.
