Samsung E&A Unveils LNG Module Package at Gastech 2026

Samsung E&A has made a significant move into the liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant sector by unveiling an LNG Module Package at Gastech 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand. This package is designed for LNG liquefaction facility construction and responds to growing demand for modular approaches, particularly in small and medium-sized LNG developments.

The integrated solution combines Samsung E&A's proprietary modular execution technology with Honeywell Technology's AP-SMR (Single Mixed Refrigerant) LNG Process liquefaction technology. According to the company, this pre-engineered and modularised product can speed up the project lifecycle by 20% and reduce overall project duration.

According to Hong Namkoong, President and CEO of Samsung E&A, 'the package's main competitive edge comes from pairing Honeywell's established process technology with our own modular execution capabilities.' He also noted that the company will actively meet rising demand for modularisation in LNG plants and grow its presence in the LNG sector by deepening client collaboration from the earliest project stages.
