Samsung Finally Integrates Google Photos into Gallery App

Samsung has finally integrated Google Photos directly into its Gallery app, allowing users to sync their photos and videos seamlessly between the two platforms.

This change comes after rumors earlier this month that Samsung would shift away from OneDrive as its dedicated cloud backup solution for the Gallery app in favor of Google Photos.

The integration is currently rolling out with Samsung Gallery version 15.9.01.7 and adds a new 'Sync photos and videos' option to the app's settings.

This means users can now keep their photos and videos synced between Samsung Gallery and Google Photos without having to use the Google Photos app separately.
