Saratoga Crime Wave Continues: Theft, Assaults Plague Local Residents

A series of incidents have been reported in Saratoga, California, highlighting the ongoing crime wave in the area. Between August 23 and 25, a catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle parked on Bellgrove Circle, resulting in an estimated loss of $1,500.

On August 28, an assault and battery incident occurred at the McDonald's on Prospect Road. Two suspects surrounded a victim, making them feel trapped, before punching the victim and grazing their cheek. The victim fled the scene.

Just two days later, on August 30, a Saratoga resident reported that someone had used their personal identifying information to obtain a loan of approximately $4,409 through identity theft.
