Saudi Arabia Bolsters AI Sovereignty with AMD and Cisco Deal

The Public Investment Fund-backed Saudi AI company Humain has partnered with AMD and Cisco to expand its artificial intelligence capacity in the kingdom.

The new computing infrastructure, which utilizes AMD's Instinct MI355X graphics processing units (GPUs) and EPYC central processing units (CPUs), will serve Humain customers in Saudi Arabia and beyond.

Cisco's Silicon One-based AI networking technology and N9000 Series platform are also being utilized in the venture.

Humain CEO Tareq Amin stated that this partnership is a 'vote of confidence' in his company, highlighting its ability to build and operate advanced AI infrastructure at scale.
