Scheffler to Defend Title as American Express Heads to La Quinta in 2027

The American Express tournament is set to take place from January 21-24, 2027, in La Quinta, California. Scottie Scheffler will defend his title won at 27 under par.

There are currently no odds posted for the 2027 event. The tournament will be played across three courses: Pete Dye Stadium Course (host), PGA West Nicklaus Tournament Course, and La Quinta Country Club, all of which are par 72.

The cut comes after the third round, a change from the Cognizant Classic where it falls after 36 holes. The last four winners finished at 25 under or better, with Scheffler's win in 2026 being the widest margin, at four shots.
