SEKAVIN Upgrades Core Systems, Achieves Zero Cybersecurity Incidents
SEKAVIN, a marine fuels group, has successfully modernized its core systems by migrating to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and building a custom Salesforce CRM environment. This move is aimed at improving data access, reducing manual processes, and enhancing visibility across operations and financial reporting.
The company's digital programme also involved expanding the use of Google Workspace across the organisation. SEKAVIN has reported zero cybersecurity incidents in 2025, which it attributes to tighter security controls and regular testing. The company conducted an external penetration test with ThreatScene in 2025 and implemented remediation actions where required.
SEKAVIN's digital transformation programme is expected to improve system interoperability, support secure remote access, and provide greater scalability as the business grows. The company believes that reliable data, connected systems, and cyber resilience are crucial for informed decision-making in maritime operations.
