Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (Democratic-Rhode Island) recently unloaded part of their stake in Visa Inc. (NYSE: V).
In a filing disclosed on October 1st, the Senator revealed that they had sold between $1,001 and $15,000 in Visa stock on September 4th.
This is not the only transaction made by the Senator in recent weeks. They also sold shares of Analog Devices (NASDAQ: ADI), JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE: JPM), NVIDIA (NASDAQ: NVDA), Lam Research (NASDAQ: LRCX), Amgen (NASDAQ: AMGN), and Lowe's Companies (NYSE: LOW) around the same time.
The sales by Senator Whitehouse come as Visa shares have been on a steady rise. The company reported $3.32 EPS for the quarter, beating analysts' consensus estimates of $3.23 by $0.09.
