Sepehran Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing After Tyre Burst Causes Ceiling Collapse
A Sepehran Airlines Boeing 737-500 was forced to make an emergency landing at Mashhad airport in Iran on September 15 after one of its landing-gear tyres burst during takeoff.
The pilot quickly aborted the flight's planned journey to Kermanshah, and instead landed the plane safely, but not before the cabin ceiling collapsed due to the mechanical failure.
Passengers were seen holding onto their seats as the plane shook violently, with some screaming in terror as chunks of the ceiling fell onto those seated below.
No one was injured during the ordeal, and all passengers and crew were safely evacuated from the plane.
