Sessions Continues Selling Stocks Amid Decline in Trading Activity
Rep. Pete Sessions (R-Texas) has been selling stocks in recent months, according to data from Benzinga Government Trades page.
The congressman recently disclosed the sale of Alphabet Class A (NASDAQ:GOOGL) shares and AbbVie (NYSE:ABBV) shares on September 14, with each transaction valued between $15,000 to $50,000.
This follows a pattern of recent sales by Sessions, who has been selling more stocks than buying in dollar volume over the past few years. In fact, his trading activity has seen a significant decrease since 2024, with only one purchase made that year - a $1,000 to $15,000 purchase of Microsoft shares.
Sessions' total trades have exceeded $11.5 million since 2013, according to data from Quiver Quantitative, making him one of the most active traders in Congress.
