Shawn Levy Signs Overall Deal with Disney's 20th Television

Shawn Levy, director of films like 'Free Guy' and 'Deadpool & Wolverine', has signed an overall deal with Disney's 20th Television. The new agreement will begin in October 2027, a year after his current Netflix contract expires.

The deal will allow Levy to develop and produce TV projects across various Disney platforms and brands.

Levy's relationship with Disney on the film side may have played a role in his decision to move to television. He directed 'Free Guy' for 20th Century Studios, which is now under Disney, and has upcoming projects with Marvel and Lucasfilm.

As an Executive Producer, Levy will remain involved in any upcoming Stranger Things projects at Netflix.
