Sherwin-Williams Closes Paint Manufacturing Facility in Jamaica

Sherwin-Williams has closed its paint manufacturing facility at White Marl in St. Catherine, Jamaica, effective July 31st. The company will no longer produce paint on-site and instead import products from other facilities via its existing supply chain.

The closure affects around 21 employees who were involved in consultations related to the decision. Of these, seven have been transferred to new positions within the company, while 14 have left their roles.

Despite this change, Sherwin-Williams assures that product distribution and sales will continue as usual from St. Catherine and Montego Bay, with its 24 retail stores across Jamaica remaining open.
