Sherwin-Williams Expands North Carolina Paint Facility to Boost Efficiency
Sherwin-Williams has officially opened its expanded North Carolina paint facility in Statesville. The company's largest plant in North America now boasts nearly 50,000 square feet of improvements, including increased production space and automation enhancements.
The expansion was supported by incentives from the state of North Carolina, Iredell County, and the City of Statesville through a public-private partnership.
'With expanded production space, new rail infrastructure, and greater automation, this facility gives us more flexibility and efficiency in how we manufacture and move products across our global supply network,' said Heidi Petz, Chair, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Sherwin-Williams.
